Outline of Play
Three very respectable couples are meeting to celebrate their joint 25th wedding anniversary. However, the evening produces a series of disruptive but comic events, including the arrival of an old flame, a photographer and a reporter before order is eventually restored.

The action of the play takes place in the sitting room of Alderman Helliwell’s house in Clecklewyke on the evening od September 5th, 1908.
