Outline of Play
Middle-aged George is undergoing, in the words of his wife’s friend Ruth, the virility crisis, and has been seeking reassurance from young Jane, leaving his elegant Highgate drawing room for dalliance in her bright by modest Holland Park bedsit.
The action swings between the two contrasting rooms until matters are brought to a general confrontation where mistaken identities abound and rebound, and a bizarre, humourous game of make believe is played by all concerned.
